Here are some of my favorite photos from the Cellcom Green Bay Marathon that took place this past Sunday, May 16th, 2010 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The race starts on Lombardi Avenue with Lambeau Field, home of the Green Bay Packers, in the background. Runners get to run through the players tunnel and out onto Lambeau Field before finishing the race in the parking lot with a tailgate party waiting them including beer and brats.
This was the 11th year for the race. I have photographed each one for the marathon. I greatly enjoy this weekend. I was amazed at the turnout the runners had along their 26.2 mile trek this year. Every location I visited was packed with cheering fans. The sense of accomplishment you see on the faces of the runners as they finish is amazing. I also enjoy the signs you will find along the course, always good for a chuckle.
Thanks for looking!
