Here are some of my favorite photos from a recent shoot centering on the manufacturing of tanker trailers. Commercial photography on an active production floor is always a fun challenge. With this type of industrial photography, you need to keep in mind that you have to work around their production flow and not the other way around. My assistant and I tried to work as much as we could with the existing light, but added extra light to give the shots more dimension with various light modifiers and colored gels. We also took advantage of some of the last nice fall days here in Wisconsin to do some glamour shots of the trailers and a few detail shots. I even pulled out the tilt shift lenses to do a little selective focus photography.
Thanks for looking!
